Labrador Gold Corp. is a mineral exploration company focused on the discovery and advancement of gold and copper resources in eastern Canada. The Company’s 100% owned district-scale Hopedale project in Labrador covers much of the Archean Florence Lake greenstone belt that stretches over 60 km. Florence Lake is typical of greenstone belts around the world, but unlike these belts has been significantly underexplored by comparison. The company’s extensive exploration database represents an excellent discovery opportunity for LabGold. The Company’s work to date indicates significant potential for gold, nickel and zinc-lead-copper deposits.
The Borden Lake Extension project is in an area of excellent infrastructure near Chapleau, Ontario and is immediately adjacent to Discovery Silver Corp.’s Borden gold mine.
The Watson Project in northwestern Ontario, 100% owned by Elementary, a joint venture between LabGold and Nemo Resources Inc. represents the largest landholding (127,000 ha) in the Fort Hope greenstone belt. The Watson project hosts significant potential for gold and critical minerals (e.g. antimony, nickel, copper and zinc) in an area that has been significantly underexplored compared to the greenstone belts to the west (Red Lake and Pickle Lake). The road to the Ring of Fire, to begin construction in mid 2026, will run through the property and once complete, will significantly reduce costs of exploration and development.
CEO Roger Moss has over 30 years industry experience predominantly in copper and gold exploration and was instrumental in discovering the multi-million ounce Navachab gold deposit in Namibia, advancing the Vizcachitas copper-molybdenum project in Chile and the Ilovica porphyry copper-gold project in Macedonia. More recently he led LabGold’s exploration success at the Kingsway Project in Newfoundland which was eventually sold to New Found Gold for $20 million.
Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador are excellent jurisdictions ranking 2nd and 8th, respectively on the 2025 Fraser Institute’s worldwide ranking of Investment attractiveness for the mining industry.
